My name is Francesca Grimaldos and I graduated from Florida International University in Spring of 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in International Relations with certificates in Human Rights and Political Transitions as well as German language and culture. I participated in the Global Learning program which awards you with a Global Citizenship medallion upon graduation, more detailed information can be found under the tab Global Citizenship. I also participated in the Peace Corps Prep program which prepared me for any future service work.

I have taken classes in many international relations topics such as :  International Law; Conflict, Peace, and Security Studies; International Cooperation, International Protection of Human Rights; Diplomacy; and Challenges of Refugees and Migrants, to name a few. I will be inserting some of my works for these classes under the tab Topics of Interest. I have also  reached a level of conversational German (Level 2) through German classes in university and have developed a thorough knowledge of German culture and German business practices.

One of the most interesting and  fulfilling experiences of my college career has been my internship and work with the Immigrant Resource Center of Miami. I have worked towards achieving active Economic, Social, & Political Citizenship of refugees and migrants in the Miami area through English language classes as well as through preparations for the U.S. citizenship exam.
